Banja Luka Expo 2024 International Fair in the University Campus
UNIBLNewsNews and informationThe first International Trade Fair „Banja Luka Expo 2024ˮ, which is held in the University Campus, where around 300 domestic exhibitors as well as exhibitors from the region and the world are presented, opened on 3 rd April 2024.
President of the Republic of Srpska Milorad Dodik said that this fair is an opportunity to exchange experiences, as well as to make new contacts in order to reach the goal of every businessman, which is development. He pointed out that fairs, such as this one, are an opportunity to hear the ideas and demands of businessmen, and to turn to modern trends in business cooperation. President Dodik expressed his satisfaction with the large number of exhibitors gathered in the University Campus in Banja Luka, and announced that he will support the organization of this fair next year as well.
Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations within the Council of Ministers Staša Košarac said that „Banja Luka Expo 2024ˮ International Trade Fair shows that the Republic of Srpska is becoming an acknowledged place for regional dialogue on serious issues relevant for the development of the economy.
„We are doing all this in order to attract attention and to open space for everyone who wants to invest hereˮ, Prime Minister of the Republic of Srpska Radovan Višković pointed out in his opening speech.
President of the National Assembly Nenad Stevandić said that in the Republic of Srpska there are human and all other potentials to yield positive economic results, which show that the Republic of Srpska is creatively strong and capable of developing in every respect.
In his speech, Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade of Serbia Tomislav Momirović emphasized that Serbia will remain committed to the development of economic relations and infrastructure investments in the Republic of Srpska.
Banja Luka Mayor Draško Stanivuković expressed his satisfaction with the fact that Banja Luka is hosting such an important event.

Exchange of ideas and experiences
As the organizers pointed out, the goal of the fair is to network the most prominent businessmen and to enable the exchange of ideas and experience of experts and enthusiasts from different fields.
Furthermore, the goal is to provide an opportunity for companies to present their ideas and showcase and demonstrate their products or services to the wider community. The intention is to create new partnerships through this fair, and to identify potential opportunities for financial support for the further development of their companies and innovative solutions.
The International Trade Fair is a modern international exhibition in the field of civil engineering, metal and electrical industry, wood industry, technology and household appliances, IT sector - electronics and robotics, real estate, architecture and design.
Exhibitors from the banking sector, microcredit organizations, insurance companies and other financial institutions from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the University of Banja Luka, took part in more than 15,000 square metres of exhibition space in the University Campus, of which 6,000 are outdoors. The entry to the fair is free for the teachers and students of the University of Banja Luka, which will be open until 5 th April.
The fair was organized by the companies „RS Consulting & Tradeˮ and „Elite Fairˮ from Banja Luka, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations within the Council of Ministers, the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska and the City of Banja Luka, as well as with the strong support of the University in Banja Luka.
