New Accommodation for the Faculty of Agriculture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy and the Faculty of Forestry
UNIBLNewsNews and informationStudent's UnionThe meeting, at which the proposal for the future use of the building under construction of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy at the University of Banja Luka was presented, was held on 6 February 2020.
As said during the meeting held at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, this Faculty and the Faculty of Forestry at the University of Banja Luka will be located in the new building.
The proposal fully meets the needs of both faculties, while not compromising the integrity of the basic architectural solution. Part of the space, which includes professors’ offices, laboratories, computer rooms, drawing rooms and the like, will belong to the respective faculty, while classrooms, lecture halls, student service, library, cafeteria, halls, communications, auxiliary spaces will be shared. If necessary, classrooms will be available to the University and to all members of the University.
Participants of the meeting agreed to the proposed architectural solution, and Rector of the University of Banja Luka Prof. Radoslav Gajanin, PhD, announced that the activities aimed at providing all conditions for the final completion of the building would be continued.
The meeting was also attended by: Vice Rector for International and Interuniversity Cooperation Prof. Biljana Antunovic, PhD, Vice Rector for Scientific Research and University Development Prof. Goran Latinovic, PhD, Financial Director Dusko Lazic, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy Prof. Brankica Milojevic, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Forestry Prof. Vojislav Dukic, PhD, and authors of the architectural solution for the building of the Faculty of Agriculture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy Prof. Sasa Cvoro, PhD, and Assistant Professor Malina Cvoro.
Let us be reminded that the new building of the Faculty of Agriculture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy is being constructed at the University campus.
