| The goal | ||||
| Introducing students to modern installation systems in buildings, mutual coordination and the necessary space within the building. The special orientation of the course is the detailed training of students for the design of water supply, fecal and atmospheric sewage in buildings for various purposes. | ||||
| The outcome | ||||
| Knowledge of application and design of water supply and sewerage installations in the construction of architectural structures is useful for mastering other construction disciplines, and for preparing seminar and final works. The acquired knowledge is applicable for solving practical (professional) problems. | ||||
| Contents | ||||
| Introductory part (course assignment, mode of work, literature, other). Relationship of installation networks with elements of architectural objects. Sanitary devices and types, purpose and position in the building, and connection to installation networks. Sewage network / fecal and atmospheric /, types of pipe material. Design rules, project presentation methodology, calculations and bill of quantities and estimate of sewage installations Plumbing installation / cold and hot water /, types of pipe material. Sizing, plumbing design rules. Methodology of presentation of project documentation, calculations and bill of quantities estimate of water supply installations. | ||||
| Methods of teaching | ||||
| Lectures and exercises. The exercises monitor the involvement and activity of students through the continuous development of the semester assignment. The quality of teaching is fully checked by surveying students. | ||||

| Independent preparation and defense of the semester assignment is obligatory. Students who do not pass the colloquia during the semester, take remedial colloquia in terms of regular exam deadlines.
