International projectsNewsNews and information

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ project "Boosting Digital and Green Skills for a Resilient and Sustainable Western Balkan Society" – SKILL2SUSTAIN, the implementation of instructional activities according to the modernized syllabi of six courses across three study programs has officially commenced at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the University of Banja Luka.

The enhanced educational content focuses on the integration of green and digital skills, the application of contemporary technologies – including Building Information Model/Modelling/ Management (BIM) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) – and the development of an interdisciplinary approach. Particular significance has been given to bridging teaching and research activities with real-world challenges of sustainable development, as well as aligning instructional content with European priorities for the green and digital transition.

Through the application of these modernised syllabi, students will develop the essential knowledge and competencies required to address contemporary challenges in the fields of architecture, civil engineering, and geodesy, while adapting to emerging demands and paradigm shifts within the professional environment.

The modernisation of instructional content represents a substantial contribution to enhancing the quality of higher education and achieving the overarching objectives of the SKILL2SUSTAIN project, which are directed toward strengthening green and digital capacities across the Western Balkan region.
