Training Visit Implemented at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad within the Erasmus+ SKILL2SUSTAIN Project

As part of the Erasmus+ project "Strengthening Digital and Green Skills for a Resilient and Sustainable Western Balkans Society (SKILL2SUSTAIN)", a training programme for the administrative and professional staff of higher education institutions from the Western Balkans was successfully held at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, from 22 to 26 June 2026.

The Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, University of Banja Luka, was represented by Slađana Grumić, Professional Associate and holder of a Master's degree in Energy Efficiency in Buildings. She actively participated in all programme activities aimed at strengthening digital and green competences in higher education.

The training focused on the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices in the fields of digital and green education, with particular emphasis on the application of circular economy principles in civil engineering, the use of modern software solutions, and the integration of digital tools into educational and research processes.

A significant outcome of the training and the established cooperation is the preparation of two joint research papers. The research results will be presented at an international conference to be organised within the framework of the project activities in September 2026, further enhancing the research, digital, and international collaboration competences of the participating professional staff.

Participation in activities of this kind represents an important contribution to strengthening the capacities of higher education institutions for implementing green and digital transformation, while also fostering regional and international cooperation in the fields of sustainable development and contemporary education.
