Architectural Constructions 1				To listen to the course - won the threshold of 25.5 points in the exercises of the course Architectural Constructions 1. For passing the course - passed the course of Architectural Construction 1 and won the threshold of 25.5 points on exercises from Architectural Constructions 2.
The goal
The main goal of the course is the construction and materialization (reinforced concrete and steel buildings) of larger residential and public buildings. More precisely, the aim of the course is for the student to be able to make an approximate constructive solution of the building and technical details of the construction for the level of the construction project over a specific conceptual design of buildings, with a span greater than 6 m.
The outcome
Students will be able to apply the acquired knowledge in architectural practice (setting of a constructive system and materialization over a concrete conceptual solution of space, structural rasters larger than 6m and technical details of structures for the level of the construction project). Students will learn about the importance of modular coordination applied to the facade cladding of a building. Students will gain the ability to over their conceptual design of the project task in Studio 4 (ensemble) compare constructive systems and apply an adequate constructive system and materialization of the envelope, and draw all the necessary details for the level of the construction project.
Contents
Introduction to terminology, principles and elements of construction and materialization of buildings larger size and range (≥ 6 m) in massive, skeletal, panel and combined structural assembly, in prefabricated, semi-prefabricated and performed on site; Elements of the skeletal cast reinforced concrete structural system; Elements of skeletal and panel prefabricated reinforced concrete structural system; Elements of skeletal steel constructive system; Building foundations - single foundations, counter beams, counter slabs - shallow and deep foundations; Classification of mezzanine structures with spans greater than 6 m for cast and prefabricated reinforced concrete and steel buildings; Classification of cast and prefabricated reinforced concrete stairs; Modular coordination of facade cladding and types of facade cladding - contact and worn over the substructure, prefabricated and semi-prefabricated facade cladding; Classification of light hanging facades - curtain wall; Fire protection.
Methods of teaching
Lectures, interactive classes and exercises - making graphic works, consultations. Learning and independent production of graphic works.

2 independent graphic works, including teaching activity, are evaluated with a maximum of 50 points (maximum 25 points for each graphic work); The exam is graded with a maximum of 50 points; A passing grade is obtained if 51 points are cumulatively collected - attendance continues at least 80% (24 hours of lectures and 24 hours of exercises), graphic works with a threshold of 25.5 points from 2 graphic works 51 % of a total of 50 points) and an exam with a threshold of 25.5 points (51% of a total of 50 points); A student who unjustifiably misses more than 20% (more than 6 hours of lectures and 6 hours exercises) and who does not score a minimum of 25.5 points in the exercises, must resume listening to the subject.
