The goal
Acquiring basic knowledge about general characteristics of traffic development and traffic basis. Basic settings of development of transport networks and settlements, as well as interdependence of traffic and space are studied. Through the indicators of the purpose of the area and the type of transport networks, it is approached to study the methods and procedures of analyzes and forecasts of traffic flows, traffic demand and traffic. Finally, there is a process of traffic planning that creates the basis for a complex study of the problem of planning and designing of roads.
The outcome
Mastering the curriculum content of the course allows students to participate in a complex process, starting from a planning point of view, to specific technical solutions, establishing interdependencies between traffic and space. Upon completion of the program, the student is able to define the basics for planning and designing the traffic through the methods and methods of traffic analysis and forecasting.
