In the period from December 5th to December 13th, 2023, the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy of the University of Banja Luka, in collaboration with the research organisation, Architectural Journalism and Criticism from India, organised a Winter School for architecture students from various Indian Universities.

The participating students were Twinkle Kataria, Aayushi Gupta, Bhavya Gupta, Ishika Uday, and Shaurya Champaneri. The workshop on "Cut'n'fold: 2D>>3D Structures" was conducted under the mentorship of Assistant Professor Dr. Maja Ilić and Dajana Papaz, teaching assistant. Additionally, workshops on "Industrial Design Methods in Architecture" and "Architectural Journalism & Criticism" were conducted under the mentorship of architect and design researcher, Pappal Suneja, a doctoral candidate from the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. In addition to these activities, students had receptions with the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy Management and the Vice-Rector for International and Interuniversity Cooperation of the University of Banja Luka, Prof. Kristina Pantelić Babić, PhD.

It's worth noting that this is a successful continuation of collaboration initiated by the Chair of History and Theory of Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy and the Professorship of Theory and History of Modern Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, which began in 2022. Since then, Pappal Suneja has visited Banja Luka twice, delivering lectures on both occasions. While Prof. Miroslav Malinović, PhD gave an invited lecture at Bauhaus University in 2023. In the upcoming period, Pappal Suneja, Prof. Maja Ilić, PhD, and Prof. Miroslav Malinović, PhD will conduct a joint course titled "Virtual Reconstruction of Architectural Heritage: Preserving the Past in the Digital Age" in March 2024 as part of the traditional Spring School at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, Germany.
