CREATING THE NETWORK OF KNOWLEDGE LABS FOR SUSTAINABLE AND RESILIENT ENVIRONMENTS – KLABS - 15.10.2015-14.10.2018

The project Creating the Network of Knowledge Labs for Sustainable and Resilient Environments is capacity building action in the field of higher education, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. KLABS is an educational platform that addresses two current and equally important challenges of urban and rural built environments in Western Balkan – sustainability and resilience to climate change.

Thematic book series consisted of five volumes in English language, with 54 state-of-the-art, original, research articles written by 83 authors from 12 countries from the European Union and the Western Balkans

Centres and Labs for Sustainable and Resilient Environments

Six Western Balkan higher education institutions participating in the project KLABS have established and equipped the institutional educational and research units – centres and labs with the main objective to support the implementation of developed KLABS programmes and courses, and the functioning of the Regional Network of Knowledge Labs for Sustainable and Resilient Built Environment in the Balkans.

Workplan

Work methodology in project KLABS was elaborated through five work package types, encompassing in total 24 work packages necessary to achieve project aims and objectives.
